On March 1, 2012 my wife and I launched LincolnSpeak.com because we felt that there was a better way to inform and connect the community of Lincoln, Illinois. Since that time we have learned a lot about what the community wants and does not want.  People do want to be informed but they do not want another social network.  For small communities such as ours Facebook fulfills that need. We were still passionate about the community being informed but were not sure how we wanted to proceed.

In 2014 I was approached by other individuals who share the same passion.  While we feel that it's important to highlight activities such as sports and community events we wanted to focus our attention on topics such as the Meridian Wind Farm or Lincoln Depot Project and provide as much information as possible to the residents of Logan County, in a format that is easy to understand.

After several months of planning Logan County Town Hall was born. The mission is clear. Promote the communities of Logan County, highlight the challenges that they face, and provide a free and open forum for discussion.

Although Lincoln Speak has been retired the vision lives on through Logan County Town Hall.  We hope that you will take the time to see what Logan County Town Hall has to offer and become a frequent visitor and contributor.  Together we can accomplish the impossible!
